Tor Fundraising

Andy Webb and Sarah Slade organised this years Tor RFC Annual Dinner Dance, which took place in Glastonbury Town Hall in May. We wanted to make the night a little different from previous years so decided, along with our Dinner Dance committee, to have a MC for the evening.

After much consideration we asked Jodie Stead to take on the prestigious role. As Jodie is a natural performer he was asked to make a special performance at the end of the evening only if we managed to raise £150 for Children's Hospice South West (Little Bridge House).

Ron Bickham has always been a very loyal member of Tor RFC, giving his time to many events and Steak Nights. The committee didn't hesitate to nominate Little Bridge House as our chosen charity. Ryan Bickham has spent time over the last several years in Barnstaple with his family for short-breaks to Little Bridge House. At Midnight on May 12th, Jodie Stead didn't turn into a Pumpkin but into Barry Manilow! With a star performance of Copacabana! Many Thanks Jodie.

Thank you to everyone that helped to organise the evening and who donated money.
